Abbie was born and raised on the East Coast. However, immediately after high school she moved westward with a desire to find a place to truly call home. She settled in Laramie, Wyoming in 2006 and graduated with a Bachelors in History from the University of Wyoming in 2008.

Abbie spent the following three years working for the Wyoming Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Program. After getting married in 2011, Abbie and her husband, Jim, moved to Iowa where they lived for almost three years and had their first two sons. They made their way back to Wyoming in 2014 and added two more boys to their family.

Since moving to Cheyenne, Abbie has volunteered for the Church of the Holy Trinity’s Children’s Ministry, was a member of the steering team for Calvary Chapel MOPS, and is a volunteer for the Cathedral of St. Mary’s religious education program. She is also currently the president of the Gilchrist Elementary School’s PTO and the parent representative to the LCSD #1 Parent Advisory Committee for Gilchrist, Clawson, and Willardsen. In 2019, Abbie began working for a local coffee roastery as their Financial Officer. In addition to handling the company’s finances, she has delivered coffee orders to a large portion of the county.

Abbie and her family have lived within the city limits of Cheyenne as well as out in the county and they love calling Laramie County home.
